Poor sweet Lenny! He is a senior dog that is black. Two strikes against him. But Lenny remains hopeful. He was found running with another dog as a stray. He has lipomas on his rear and abdomen, but still is a happy guy who loves attention.
Lenny is a very polite, attentive dog who walks nicely on a leash. He's a little depressed now that his younger pal has found a home, so we hope he'll find a loving family of his own very soon .
Lenny loves his toys. He has been neutered and is just waiting for his new forever home. Will you give Lenny his second chance?
Pumpkin is a short hair domestic cat. She is a happy kitty who is very friendly and loves to be petted. When a visitor comes by, she will get up and start to rub the bars of the cage.
This 4 year old is waiting to find her “purrfect” home. Pumpkin has been altered and is front declawed. She can be your Halloween girl with her beautiful orange and white coat.
Faith is a small black terrier mix. She is quite shy but is very loveable once she warms up to you. She would do best in a quiet, calm home. She will need some extra love and attention when she finds her forever home as she has been at the shelter for a long time.
From one of our volunteers: "Faith has been very sweet and friendly with me. When I take her for a walk, she always tries to do her "business" and then she enjoys cuddling next to me. She does not seem to mind the dogs in the next pen."
Faith will sit on command and will try to wait to go outside to relieve herself. Faith will sit on the chair in the outside pens like a little lady to wait for her admirers to notice how cute she is.
Cuddles' owner told us his son has asthma and is allergic to the rabbit. He said Cuddles is 5.5 years old. She was friendly when we took her out to take her picture .
The shelter currently has over 20 rabbits looking for homes. Rabbits are adopted only as indoor pets. Adoption fee is $35 and includes spaying or neutering.
Cheyanne is a black, shar pei pit bull terrier mix. Her owner told us that Cheyanne is housebroken and OK with children and with other dogs. We've found her to be very sweet and gentle. Cheyenne is 6 years old.
From one of our volunteers: "Cheyanne is very easy to walk. She loves any attention she is given. She is very calm in her kennel. "
Cheyanne needs to loose weight as she does not get the exercise she needs at the shelter. She is hoping that her new forever home will provide her with that exercise. Can you open your heart to this senior girl who is tired of calling the shelter her home?
