Creampuff (ID#56688) is a medium size, female adult cat. She is front declawed and very depressed at the shelter. She is 6 years old and has been waiting for a home for several months. She is up to date with shots and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Creampuff has been spayed and is ready for her forever home. Can you open your heart to this cute girl?
Kimo (ID#56254) is a very handsome labrador retriever mix. His owner told us his wife was having a baby and could not take care of him any longer. What a shame. He is a big goofball who loves attention and gets excited easily.
Kimo could benefit from the leash training as he is a strong boy. He is playful with toys but did not show possessiveness. He should be OK with older children but because of his size might knock over young children. Kimo is 7 years old and has plenty of life and love to give. What a great face!
Jelly (ID#58342) is a very cute rabbit. She is only 6 months old and was turned in with another bunny by an owner who let their bunnies breed. Jelly has been altered and is waiting for a forever home. Rabbits make wonderful house pets that can be liter box trained. Is Jelly the pet for you?
Tito (ID#56516) is a young adult yellow labrador retriever. Tito’s owner told us he was going away to school and there was no one to care for the dog. He said Tito is housebroken and has lived with children over 6 years old. Tito is very exciteable and needs some work on his leash manners.
He was not happy with having his paws or mouth handled but just pulled away and showed no aggression. Tito is very food motivated which should help with his training. Tito needs lots of exercise and would make a great jogging companion. Probably too overwhelming for toddlers, he should be OK with older children. Isn’t he a handsome boy?
Rocky (ID#56637) is a 2 year old Jindo mix. Rocky’s owner told us he was working too much and did not have time to care for the dog. They said he was mostly housebroken and has the typical Jindo personality – aloof with strangers, friendly once he knows you and not good with other animals.
He can be mouthy when he is excited. He loves to play and have his butt scratched and is an active dog that will do best with training and lots of exercise. Rocky has been altered and is ready for his new home.
Leroy (ID#57182) is an adult male Shar Pei mix with possibly some chow or pit bull. He came into the shelter as a stray so we are not sure of his age. He is a calm dog that is easy to walk for a big boy. He can be aloof with strangers and is well mannered. Leroy should be the only pet in the household as he is not good with other dogs.
His new owner will need to go slowly at the dog’s pace but once Leroy knows him or her, he will make a great companion. Leroy loves to walk and needs lots of exercise.
